My mission as a transformational life coach is to work with the Earth to liberate human essence through the recognition of the creative spirit.TrainingI suppose my whole life has been training up until this present moment! Professionally speaking, I began my career by obtaining a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga. I went on to receive my Master's in Transpersonal Psychology with a concentration in Creativity and Innovations from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, Ca. I also obtained a certificate in Transformational Life Coaching after completing the Transformational Life Coaching Program offered by the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology. I've held many professional titles along my journey, including Wilderness Therapist, Child Advocate, and Social Worker. I have also created and facilitated various expressive arts programs for women residing in domestic violence shelters and for survivors of sexual assault. While pursuing my Master's degree, I began to really tune in to my own desire to live my life full of purpose and meaning. What that meant for me was devoting my professional career to developing this unique form of coaching. I love the whole process and am constantly in awe of my clients. I am always so honored to witness their breakthroughs.
Spiritual Beliefs
I experienced a great longing for most of my life. I find that this longing is assuaged when my bare feet dig deep into collapsing walls of sand or I'm sitting atop a mountain and the vista before me pulls at the smallness in me or I press my body into the softness of the Earth and my heartbeat
becomes matched with the Earth's eternal rhythm. These are moments of grand connection and recognition that I came from the same elements that surround me and will return to those elements. There are moments when I close my eyes and am pulled out of my body and into the landscape that holds me or into the sunlight that warms me or into the birdsong that fills my ears with joy. There is a sense of unity between the Earth and I. We have forged a great kinship and it is one that every human that walks this Earth is capable of doing. I believe that we have just forgotten how. My connection with the Earth led to an interest in Shamanism. I have spent many years immersing myself in this belief system, as well as completed a 2 year Shamanic Intensive with
Cecile Carson. As I studied Shamanism, I recognized how many spiritual practices stemmed from this belief system. This allows me to respect and appreciate the diversity of various cultures and belief systems and accommodate individual preferences within the quality of work I do with my clients.
Creative ProcessThe creative process has been my best friend on the road to self-discovery and realizing my own vision. With the natural world as my biggest inspiration, I discovered photography, painting, and movement. I became enraptured with each one, surrendering all expectations and giving myself over to the beauty of the present moment. The creative process became my road map to integrating my intuition with the sense of grounded-ness I felt within my being. You can witness my ongoing creative process and the inspiration I find in nature by visiting my
