Wild Call of the Soul - Transformational Life Coaching

What is Transformational Life Coaching?
Transformational life coaching  involves a conversation that takes place between the coach and the client.  It begins by looking at where the client is currently at and where the client wants to go, so it is outcome oriented.  By listening deeply, the coach uses her intuition to formulate a pattern of questioning that is meant to draw out the client's innate wisdom.  A good coach knows that the answers lie within the client, and will accept you unconditionally and without judgment.  The principles behind transformational life coaching allow for these conversations to take into account the very dynamics that make up our humanity: our experience of, or ways of being with, the language, emotions, and physiology that define our perceptions of the world.  It is these ways of being that primarily motivate the behaviors that keep us from moving forward into living the life we have always wanted to live. Within these ways of beings are contexts that we have created in order to ensure our survival in the world.  These contexts include our survival strategies.  While survival strategies are very useful at the time of their conception, they work to mask the colors of our true essence when we continue to use them long after the point of effectiveness.   By learning to observe and by taking full responsibility for how we are being in relationship to our present perceptions of the world, we create an awareness of these contexts.  Once we become aware of these contexts, it allows us to choose to shift our perceptions of these contexts, thus creating measurable and tangible outcomes  for deep change.

What makes Wild Call of the Soul unique?
While all coaching involves a conversation between the coach and the client, my approach can also incorporate Earth-based principles and the use of the expressive arts.

How can time spent in nature and the expressive arts help me live the life I want?
In my work with clients and through my personal experience, I have found that nature provides a powerful vessel for transformation.  When we become so separated from our original soul essence, we need to return to places that can draw out the qualities that are hidden deep within our physical frames.  If we remove ourselves from the day-to-day noise that clutters our lives, we can begin to tune in to the language of our souls.  Nature provides a powerful mirror to the landscape of what lies within.  The same archetypal qualities that reside in nature also reside in us.  We can identify with the powerful force of a thunderstorm or the calming babble of a stream because the quality of those elements reflect certain qualities that we wish to either grow towards or away from.  When we identify with these elements in nature, we begin to heal the divide between how we have been living life and what our soul's purpose is.  If we allow ourselves to enter into a conversation with these elements, we can deepen our understanding of our own qualities that are reflected there.  This understanding will trigger an awareness into how we are being with those qualities, allowing us to shift our ways of being in alignment with our true essential selves.

In an effort to understand more deeply
the mysteries that live within our souls, we have to find ways to translate the language of those mysteries. While nature provides a wonderful mirror to draw out the qualities of our souls, we may not always understand why we are drawn to certain elements or what those elements are saying to us. We may sit in the woods and find a tree that seems to speak to us at a very primal level, but we can not understand what the tree is saying. Sometimes, we have created such intense blocks between our soul's language and our perceptions of the world that we need some type of bridge that will allow for these conversations to be deciphered. Enter in the expressive arts as a way to explore the meaning behind what is showing up for us along the path towards liberation.  We all have the innate ability to be creative.  It is our human right.  When we engage in the creative process, we begin to illuminate all the beliefs, assumptions, and judgments about who we are and our experiences that have been holding us back.  Self-awareness is achieved when we delve into the energy that make up our contexts of our worlds.  The expressive arts provides a platform for the facilitation of this self-awareness.

Once we become aware of the contexts that have been holding us back, we can choose to be with those contexts in new and different ways.  And that is what transformation is all about.
